The Vallon des Auffes is a very nice little place with a small harbor, a sea water natural swimming pool, some really nice restaurants. You can walk there from the Pharo gardens or Saint Voctor church. Very good place to finish the day.

A fantastic quartier of Marseille to visit. Plenty of restaurants and bars and nice to get away from the main busier areas such as Vieux Port.

What a typical place to see. Beautiful very small fishing village in the center of the city. A must go when visiting Marseille.

It's a good place to walk and rest. You can also take great pictures there of the ocean. Worthy going.

This small traditional fishing port is situated on a little creek just off and under the Kennedy Corniche coastal promenade only 2.5 km south-west of the Old Port in Marseille. The picturesque place has remained fairly authentic as it still has about 50 old fishermen's cottages and brightly colored vintage fishing boats that apparently reserve some of their catch for... This is a small port in the Marseille suburban. We stopped by it on our way to the Calanque National park. There is an arch monument for the Indochines by the road side which serves as a road sign to this place Vallon des Auffes. The purpose to stop by here is for the lunch. There are quite a few... Vallon des Auffres is a very nice place to go and being there at sunset is a must ! But be careful to avoid all restaurants around as they are places dedicated to tourists with just average food for what you'll pay and the staffs are far from being friendly !!!
