Average trip and look out for being ripped off

This trip is costly, 69euro a person. It amounts to a trip around the coast line near Marseille stopping off in a well used bay for a swim and a decent lunch. But be aware if you... read more

This trip is costly, 69euro a person. It amounts to a trip around the coast line near Marseille stopping off in a well used bay for a swim and a decent lunch. But be aware if you struggle speaking French or if the crew think you struggle as they tried to charge me 19euro for a small bottle or warm... More

Marseilles was one of the ports that the Harmony of the Seas stopped at on our recent cruise. I researched on TripAdvisor to find the must-sees and wanted to see the Calanques ,Cassis. I purchased the tickets online for 69 euro per person, I would have spent a lot more had I purchased a similar excursion through the ship. We... More

Whilst we enjoyed our 6 hour (with lunch) trip not all that was promised was delivered. As others have indicated we left late for no apparent reason. Lunch was some steamed fish, boiled eggs and steamed vegetables with bread, no entrée salad and no wine. You could buy wine which was overpriced and awful. Unfortunately all instructions and information at... More

Booked the 3 hour cruise to 'discover the Calanques' and stop at one for swimming today. Left half an hour late from Marseille, sailed to one Calanque inlet, stopped for two hours swimming and sailed back to Marseille. All information and instructions were solely in French (ok, it is France but a multi-national clientele). WOFTAM.

Nicolas took us on a fabulous tour of the calanques and other sights closer to the city. It proved to be a marvelous way of seeing Marseille - informative, hugely fun and by turns exciting and relaxing. Highly recommended.
