This museum is very beautiful, though not too big. The collection on display is not large, but interesting. The time I spent there was relaxing and quiet. A decisive plus was that there was no need to stand in line for hours to get in.

Very pretty building and really accessible with the tram. Only walked round the gardens. A bit unloved but the fountain was very pretty. The zoo bit was disappointing. But free so doesn’t particularly matter. Shame about some of the graffiti.

I really like to visit Palais Longchamps, it's very relaxing here with the architecture and the fountain; but it seems like they close it down every few years for renovations.

My family visited there on June 18. It’s really great place for tourists. It’s also amazing cultural heritage and architecture. It’s must see place in Marseille.

We walked to the museum from the port - which was not a bad walk (about half an hour). The palace that the museum is housed in was stunning from the outside. We enjoyed looking at the paintings of the local area and also the...More

Magnificent building with the most wonderful waterfall at the entrance - this is really a must see. Easy to get to on the tram

The building was probably originally a Benedictine convent. That does not confess itself. The receptacle or sheath is a major piece of display that is and object itself i.e. the building with murailles, balustrades, a fine cafeteria. The content has a magisterial spectrum from pre-historic,...More

You can still visit the muses there and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. There is a lift at street level for those who are less mobile but you may need to get a more able member of you party to get one of...More

The grand entrance was under repair in mid May. Typically it has a flowing water feature. Both museums were interesting. There are many steps in the front so we exited through the park in the rear with far fewer stairs.

Complex has a beautiful exterior include fountains and grotto but unfortunately, being worked on. Museum was manageable with a handful of artists at work. Adjoining the arts building is the Natural Museume.

I don't know but the museum websites would probably have that information.
