This place is a must visit. So scenic, so natural. Highly recommended during the summer. You further hire a boat, and take a tour around the sea to get a better glimpse of these calanques. a full day recommended

We were too late to go to Calanque National Park so we took a ferry to Calenque de Saint Esteve in Les Iles near the Castle of If. We loved it. We were there until 11:00 p.m. when the last Ferry left. The water is beautiful there are several small beaches to swim in, the nicest was Saint Esteve. We... More

Have a nap during the trip, or enjoy the sight from the boat. During the trip you will see different places, from a not-land viewpoint. Important : take sunglasses, cap, and sun cream !

It's like a Star Wars set. Very similar to when I visited the proper set in the SAHARA. Exceptionally beautiful, in a st ark way

When we planned our trip to Marseille, we were not even aware about such a place. Our hosts introduced it to us and after a quick research on the net we were ready to explore. We were told that that we can drive only up to a certain point and after that is accessible only by walk. After little apprehension... More

You can drive to here but then there is 4K walk unless u are a local, walk it its worth it. You can then either go to the beach climb up the mountains for a better view! I was completely at peace here and there is small quaint restaurant serving up some delicious French food. I loved it here !

We did a 2:15 hours tour to the Calanques at the afternoon. The tour is guided in french, but the explanations are available in printed version in different languages. You will get into some of the Calanques and see the bays. We did a similar tour in the area of Nizza but with smaller boats and smaller "Calanques".

You can only visit it by boat. We did it from Cassis on a trip of 8 calenques. Calenque de Morgiou is the last one. By foot it is a hiking trip.

Highly recommend making the short trip from Marseille to this Calanque. Very accessible by car and you can get right to the bottom of the fjord with no hiking needed. Though you will see some people parking 5km or so away because of closed gates - if you have a "reservation" at the restaurant in the Calanque they will let... More
