Had a great time here with my wife as we explored the French Riviera, an old village hidden in the hills above Nice with walls and cannon to protect it from pirates long ago. A step back in time with well maintained and surviving buildings...More

St Paul de Vence is one of the oldest and most beautiful villages on the French Riviera. Built on its rocky outcrop in the hills above Nice, this medieval village with its encircling ramparts and narrow streets feels like it should be a set from...More

What a amazing small old French village.... don’t have much words to express myself but a must visit site. Some very amazing artworks and paintings can been seen. Very interesting history and popular among many famous painters.

A high point in our recent visit to the Cote d’ Azur. A well maintained hill top village. A gem which is not over run with tour busses. Enjoy a visit and hopefully a meal at Le Tuille, or Columb D’ Or

The town is charming but go early in the day to avoid tourists crowds. Kalliste is a great shop for table linens. They helped us be sure to get the right size for our table and explained in detail the process for making the linens....More

The old city is a small, walled in pedestrian place, filled with charming shops and cafes. Outside is the old cemetery where Marc Chagall is buried. Wonderful Provence feeling.

Sorry was not there on a Monday. I was there midweek and the crowds were minimal. Hope this helps. Enjoy your time there. It is quite a lovely place. Sorry I could not be more helpful.
