Wow, what a shame. This stunning medieval town has been ruined by an endless collection of gaudy art galleries offering the worst paintings and glasswork you could imagine. Who buys this rubbish? Add St. Paul de Vence to a long list of French towns that...More

We’ve stayed plenty of times in Nice but never ventured gorgeous village. Take time to meander through the narrow streets & enjoy the superb art displays. Good dining options too & amazing views of the coastline & valley.

A charming village to leisurely stroll. Spectacular view. Wonderful galleries. We did not get into the hotel for lunch but enjoyed seeing the art from the outside and strolling the village.

Obviously a very touristic spot but that preserved its charm. The mix of old stones and modern art galleries make it a very enjoyable place to visit.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, as we found out, has long been a haven of the famous, mostly due to the La Colombe d'Or hotel and it's reataurant, whose former guests allegedly include Jean-Paul Sartre and Pablo Picasso. It holds numerous original paintings from many well known artists. Unfortunately...More

Well preserved town with lovely views. Not on the same scale as somewhere like Carcassonne but we'll worth a trip. Lots of art galleries.
