It is a nice walk around the stalls to see local produce, some cheeses and spices, surrounded by restaurants overlooking the market. The market itself is open and clean, but i wouldn't necessarily say ' a must', but surely, a good stroll through it.

I haven't had much time to spend at this market, however I couldn't miss it during my visit to Nice. When planning your visit, keep in mind it is closed on Mondays. If you are there for food shopping - it won't break your bank...More

Locals seem to love personal contact; they still do their shopping here, as their families did years ago, though the prices are definitely higher than in the big supermarkets, as for the quality – I am not so sure… Some of the produce is indeed...More

Had a great 45 minutes walking up and down the market trying different foods, examining gorgeous fruits and vegetables and flower arrangements. You get glimpses of the Mediterranean through the buildings and see the amazing buildings around you!

Very colourful shopping market during the day selling a wide variety of produce. Lovely to walk around and soak up the atmosphere. At night turns into a combination of shopping, dining and bars. Has a very lively atmosphere and great if you enjoy people watching.

Right next to Old Nice, this market is so colorful and crowded. A perfect place to take a walk in the mornings and enjoy the sound of the mart and the products.

Yes, mainly house plants and flowers. Well worth an hour strolling and perhaps coffee and a pastry.
