Frequent visitor to Nice. Good/great* - buildings, atmosphere, market, opera*, churches*, backstreet shops, small number of decent often 'local' places to eat or have a coffee (hard to find often just off Cors Saleya) Avoid - numerous poor quality over priced tourist rip-off places to...More

It was very different, narrow streets, small houses and u can feel the historical vibes and that its something old and special! U need a good driver along cause lots of hills and slopes. I enjoyed this quick ride visit to the old town!

If in Nice, must have a stroll through the old town. Lots of fun shops. Stay away from nougat shops and the dyed cheese shops as these are tourist traps designed to rip you off.

Sorry for the delay. It was chilly when we were there the first part of May. So I'm sure it would be cold during your time frame. Would suggest looking at average weather temps online. Jacket, scarf and pants were needed. We... More
