Amazing peaceful place in the center of the city. The restaurants and restrooms need updating but they have already started that renovation

We walked along the promenade to the castle and climbed the stairs to the top. It was worth it with great views towards the old town and airport from one direction and across the bay in the other direction

We found the free lift up the inside of the old well. On top we walked around the park checking out the views to see and across the port. We stopped at the cafe for a panini and coffee.

This was very interesting and fun. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well that day, but we still had a good time. It was a long walk up the hill, but there was a really nice waterfall along the way. At the top, there was a little...More

Great views and a free lift to get there, well worth a visit. You can also walk up if you want but either way make the effort

On top of the hill there is this amazing park, where you can have a great picnik with cheese, wine and baguette!

We walked up the slope from the port and down the steps. The whole thing is beautifully maintained. The views are excellent so take a good camera. The waterfall was switched off which was very disappointing. Perhaps had it been on it would have been...More

While you can walk it, there's an elevator which is easy to locate. Once at the top be sure to walk all the way around for great vistas in every direction, and wonderful photo op at the waterfalls. There's also a spot to purchase refreshments.

This was at the top of my to-do list when I landed in Nice and I was not disappointed. The hike up was pleasant with several places to stop and take some breathtaking photos.

The top of the hill is accessible on foot by several routes or by the Petit Train from the promenade. Terrific views over the old town and modern city, over the Promenade des Anglais and over the harbor. Nice gardens and historic ruins at the...More

Yes, There is an underground car park which is underneath the flower market. There is a lift up to the flower market and then the Castle Hill lift would be at the East end.

Lovely open area for children to play. Easy access even with pram - are some steps but would not think too much of a problem
