Well worth a visit. Well set out. Great exhibits. Buy the all museums ticket for 20 Euros. Well worth it if you visit more than 2 during your trip.

The ruins are really interesting, but the way the museum is set up is very poor. There is no information in the areas of the ruins (e.g. no plaques explaining what you are looking at) and there is no audio guide. The only "guide" is...More

We enjoyed our visit very much, but for us the outside was better than the inside. It was difficult to get much out of the interior displays because all the information was in French. Very disappointing! There were some leaflets in English for the ruins...More

The main historic parts of Cimiez are close together and the photos look great in the guide books. BUT IT IS COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE TO PARK ANYWHERE NEAR THERE. SO WE COULDN'T VISIT. Queen Victoria may have loved Cimiez, but she didn't have to park a...More

The museum is in France, the speakers speak French-this is a complaint of some, but it shouldn't surprise you. Materials are in Italian, French, and English. If you get the day pass..you pay 10Euro and you have a pass to see all city museums for...More

This museum has some great artifacts and nice diagrams showing how the heated floors worked and the layout of what the city would have looked like. The ruins are definitely worth seeing. I didn't like having to buy a 10 Euro ticket to get into...More

Having lived here some time, I never thought the Roman ruins at Cimiez were more than a few little ruins, certainly not the extensive thermal baths, coliseum, market and virtually a whole town! There's a nice little museum and also you are right next to...More

A quaint museum with interesting artifacts for sure. Nice wasn't really billed as a top spot to look at Roman Ruins, but we found the Ruins of Roman Baths accessible through this museum to be very worthwhile.

Nice historical site but completely lacking explanations. You can take a flyer when entering but it is printed in such low quality that it is very hard to follow.

Oui, le plupart de musee est sur le rez-chausee. Il y aussi une salle en bas mais je ne sais pas s'il y un ascenseur. Pour explorer les ruines, ca depend de poussette mais la plupart est avec les chemins assez biens.
