A stunning historic Russian Orthodox Cathedral. It's about a thirty minutes’ walk from the Promenade des Anglais and fifteen minutes’ walk from the railway station. The exterior is gorgeous and picturesque, and it rivals many of the Orthodox churches you'll find in St. Petersburg –...More

Glad we took took the time to visit. Very impressive exterior and interior. Feels very authentic. Not too far from the beach areas, bus stop nearby or just walk like we did.

We took advantage of the guided tour (€10) and Tatyana gave us a much better understanding of the cathedral's history and its treasures.

The cathedral is a work of art with it's onion domes and bright colors. The vaulted interior was gorgeous. The church is about a 15 minute walk front the Gare Thiers tram stop.

Wonderful/significant building structure, seem to be in Russia at Tsar's time. Is like join in one Tolstoi's novel.

I have seen many people in a wheel chair around this area so I would say yes it is possible. Be aware of busier times for crowded space throughout the flower market on the earlier part of the day.
