What a fascinating imagination made real by a true genius! Outside of the Salvador Dali Museum in Figeras, Spain, I have never been as stunned by one collection of brilliant creativity. The grounds are such fun since around every corner one finds a stone sculpture, a carved tomb, an elephant made of old tires, fountains with water coming out of... More

I have a mobility problem so there were places I was unable to get to but even with this the gardens are worth a visit. They are peaceful and a testament to love. If you are like me or are in a wheelchair the restaurant is inaccessible so don't plan to have a drink or meal there.

Quite enjoyed our night here. It was a special occasion, so maybe not typical, but the grounds were in great shape, with beautiful lighting, which made for a wonderful evening.

Our conference group had a gala evening at the Chateau de la Napoule, it was magical. Drinks on the balcony out back, pictures from the castle peaks.... lovely dinner in the home, with the surprise of Mr. & Mrs. Clews being talented opera singers... we were so surprised and amazed. It's a beautiful location!

Located on the edge of some rocks, this castle has a stunning location. And a peculiar history: worth a visit. You can also visit the seaside Salon de The for just a drink overlooking the bay.

Went with a group for dinner at this venue. There was no guide to tell us about the building so we saw very little and the meal was not well managed

We traveled from Cannes on the 20a bus beside Hotel de Ville at the cost of €1.50. You depart the bus almost across the road from the Chateau. It was restored in 1918 by American couple Henry & Marie Clews, it dates back to the 18th century. During WW2 the castle was captured by German soldiers, with the help of... More

There are four tours each day (11.30, 2.30, 3.30, 4.30) all in French. The committee that runs the Chateau has quite recently closed the room with most paintings because we are told "too many people who went into the room were only interested in the view from the windows". On that reasoning it is surprising that three further rooms have... More

This chateau is unusual in being built right beside the sea. You can walk around the lower walls by the beach/sea. To go inside is not expensive and is well worth the visit. The gardens are lovely and have unusual art works, nooks and crannies to enjoy. We took the guided tour. Although it was in French the guide spoke... More
