Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.

I bought this cologne after a visit some 2 years ago. It's lost the fragrance now and I have still 300 ml remaining. I thought I could bring it to the attention of Fragonard and be compensated for a product that is completely unfit for purpose. They dismissed the claim and didn't even want to test the product to see... More

We planned to visit this factory as my partner makes candles for a living and we wanted to learn more about the process of smells and oils from plants. The guide was very informative and taught us a lot about the different notes of perfumes and how the oils are extracted from the flowers and plants. The tour ended in... More

The visit to the museum and the guided tour are all free. The old buildings and factory are delightful and our guided tour in English was just about right in terms of depth and duration - with the added bonus that our tour guide had a wicked "dead pan" sense of humour - no doubt her way of coping with... Entrance to the museum is free and walking around looking at displays initially didn't seem so great. However, the real highlight of the museum is the guided tour you can experience. Our guide was able to give us the tour in English and it was so interesting to see how they made perfumes and learn about the different types of... More

I stayed in the Grasse area for one week this past summer, and Fragonard perfumes beautifully capture the wonderful scents that embody this region. The perfumery is in a very quaint factory in the beautiful town of Grasse. You can test out the scents and take a walk around the museum next door without feeling too pressured to buy anything.... while the goal is to sell perfume to you there is no pressure, only friendly service and you might just visit to see the very nice small museum with many nice perfume items and the production site - both for free. and you can park for free on the backside of the building which can be a little hard to... A scented trail to the Parfumerie leaves fragrant memories. Well informed and extremely charming guides. The beautiful Mimosa tree in full bloom... Not to miss a chance to buy perfumes, natural and wooded eau de toilette and toiletteries at factory prices. Ooh la la!

Disappointing. Mundane, dull and uninteresting... museum is free, but not too much going on. The shop where you can purchase perfumes, soaps etc is ok. Nothing to write home about
