This is a basically residential area. If you want to spy on other people’s houses and barked by dogs, you get a good place.

Nietzsche Path is a rugged corniche that links two small villages just east of Nice, Eze Sur Mer and Eze Village. Eze Sur Mer sits on the Mediterranean Cote d'Azur while Eze Village is fortified 1400 feet up in the hills perched above sea level....More

This hike is not extremely difficult, but it gets extremely dark at night and has some steep / unstable parts that could potentially be dangerous since there are no barriers to prevent you from falling off the mountain. Definitely recommend going in groups. Otherwise, it's...More

If you are reasonably fit you should definitely try this walk. You need appropriate footwear and take some water. The path is uneven but there are some spectacular views on the way down. Going up should only be attempted by confident walkers. TIP - we...More

Great hike with beautiful vistas as you climb higher and higher. It takes about an hour to go up on concrete stairs and mostly loose rocks on a partially shaded trail. The trail winds back and forth through residential villas until you reach the top...More

We were 'warned' that this was a tough climb ... and I guess it is if you are out of form. However, if you like a fun challenge and have the right shoes/boots, it's just a good climb with some wonderful views on the way....More

This is not an easy path to walk as it is steep and not even. I'd recommend walking down instead of up. The old town can be reached from Nice using buses 82 or 112 while the new town/beach can be reached using bus 100.

The path is currently closed due to the drought and potential fires. Therefore you can just go by bus (line 83) from Eze Village to Eze sur mer (and vice versa). The tourist office in Nice wasn't informed about this. ... So, if you wanne...More

The path itself is easy to find at start of village to the left of a posh hotel. Took the train to Eze sur Mer and then the no83 bus up for 1.50 euro. The path itself is great, wide and a mixture of steps...More

Just go across the street and turn right, you'll see a driveway/road heading up the hill with a sign on your left, past the gardening store and the Bananarie.
