We booked the boat trip after being recommended by friends and decided to have the duck lunch proceeded by amuse bouche and salmon.Cheese and a chocolate layered dessert and pear sorbet followed by coffee finished the meal off.The service was very efficient, portions were quite good as there were five courses. Going through the lock took a while but quite an... More

We took this trip without lunch as a trip to Arles and then returned by train. so it was only 16 euros each. You could buy drinks on the boat but really only after the lunch passengers were served. Unfortunately the weather was not very good so it was a little uncomfortable, although the staff did clear an unused dinner... More

We took the trip to Arles which takes about two hours. It was a very pretty journey along the river with one or two things along the way to see. The cost was 18 euro for just the trip or about 44 euro to 80+ euro for lunch depending on the menu. We took the cheapest menu as we really... More

...to Arles as non-eating passengers (we came back by train). At €16.00 ish each, this was good value for the 2+ Hour trip, the high point of which was the transit of the spectacular Beaucaire lock, just North of Arles. The main focus of service was on the 100+ lunching passengers, but the draught Leffe beer was nice.

We booked this trip online from the UK which was really easy and printed the receipt which was all we needed. We decided to book the Clipper menu but without the included drinks so we had fois gras to start, followed by beef in chateauneuf du pape jus, 3 goats cheeses and a platter of 4 small desserts. Service was... More

If you have touristic expectations to see historic buildings or nice views from the water, you will be disappointed. If you want to enjoy the evening sun with a refreshing breeze on the water for 10 euros, then ok.

We really enjoyed our day trip on the Rhone river with Mierio cruises. We opted for the top of the line package, complete with champagne, red wine, water, foie gras, tenderloin, three cheese platter, five dessert platter, and coffee. Food was superb! Service was professional and friendly. The two hour trip down river to Tarascon was pleasant because of the... More

A lovely relaxing cruise along the Rhone whilst being served with some very tasty food. Our trip departed from Avignon (where all the huge long-distance cruise vessels moor up) about 12.30pm and returned at 4pm, gliding slowly along the River Rhone upstream as far as Chateauneuf du Pape, before turning to come back. There is no stopping or landing. On... More

My first suggestion is to skip the lunch and go cheaply, we paid €16 (senior) apiece this way. We ate a large breakfast but others also doing just the boat ride brought on sandwiches and ate them on the top deck. My second suggestion is to skip the boat back, one way is enough. The Rhone is not the Rhine... More

We went on a short (1h) trip around Avignon. Besides the half finished bridge there's not loads to see. The boat does have a bar, as it was nice drinking a bottle of rose whilst we cruised around (24euro a bottle I think).
