It's a square surrounded by many cafes and restaurants including the famous Cafe La Nuit which was painted by Van Gogh. There's a bronze statue in the middle of the square.

We ate at 2 restaurants in the neighborhood of the Place , 1 for lunch, 1 for dinner, great spot for people watching

Great restaurnts to be found in this square with pretty surroundings. Not overly priced and friendly service.

Pick out a cafe (not the Yellow Van Gogh) and look at the other tourist and French people go by. Some roman coluns are incorporated into a building near the statue of Provcencial poet F Mistral.

A great central location - only one good restaurant though - so just for drinks, the best place to see Arles com to life at night.

This square has lots of restaurants. The food was good in one (the place with the yellow awning) but questionable in another. If you wanted to save a bit you could just have a drink and eat elsewhere but it is definitely worth spending a...More

Went by here just today for a glass of wine after our sightseeing...found a nice shady bar outside and enjoyed. We also are going to the area for dinner tonight!

Many restaurants are in this square but be warned they are not cheap. Its worth a look and a cold drink
