We were fortunate to be in the Luberon region on a Saturday and our hostess guided us to this market. It was so large, filled with everything from fresh provencal fruits and veggies, locally grown flowers and plants to handcrafted clothing, art painted from the...More

Great large marche with lots of clothing, foods... cheeses, olives, olive oils, veggies, fruits, soaps... and on and on. Go early, parking can be difficult and don’t miss Au Pierrot Blanc; it’s a wonderful bakery!

As french markets go this one is certainly reasonably large. Its tentacles spread, octopus-like, through the narrow cobbled streets of the town centre. Go fairly early and park near the new Tourist Office, which was the old station, and then walk ten minutes (flat) to...More

This market is really very very amazing, there is huge quantity of vendors with everything you can imagine. Food, art, beverages, cloth, you can buy or only pass through beautiful old streets. Anyway, if on Saturday in Apt, this is a thing you must to...More

We arrived from Denmark on the same day, and were thus only attending the last part of the market, but you could clearly feel that the whole town was boiling. The stuff we managed to buy sort of last minute was really nice: Fresh truffles,...More

This Saturday market will take your breath away. The whole of old town Apt is taken over each Saturday morning by this massive event. Any item you might want to buy is here. The streets come alive with vendors, lookers, and serious shoppers. The local...More

We love this Apt market and visit whenever we are in the area. The only problem is parking, it is becoming worse and unless you show up very early it is impossible to park. Other than that, superb market. Don't miss the Arab side of...More

It's a nice stroll to take on saturday mornings, to buy local cheese or a few veggies. Sadly, as usual in these kind of markets, there are a lot of fraud who will say they produce what they sell when they do not. We had...More

In fact, I hesitated to write a good review about this market, because it is one of the places I would like to keep to myself and not share with many tourists. But fact is, this market is in the first place for locals to...More

Certainly the biggest market we visited and nice to walk around. Easy to miss parts of it as splits off down side streets into other different squares. Make sure you get there early as the traffic builds up. Easier to get parked, have a coffee...More
