Quite small, with French-only descriptors. Free entry for children. An old-school natural history museum with lots of stuff in glass cases but very little else. Unless you have a particular reason to visit (e.g. a short break from the summer sun; a serious interest and excellent french) or perhaps your children are more easily impressed than ours, I wouldn't bother.

I went on the museum alone at 4.15pm. The staff at the entrance informed that the museum closes at 5pm and that 45min is barely enough for seeing all of it. Normally, around 1-1.5 hour is needed. Had a few stuffed animals, dinosaur display that looked like was put together years ago. It has vey few artifacts. A good place for local elementary school children to learn and appreciate museums of natural history without losing attention span. It's that small. I showed appreciation and courtesy to entrance staff.

My daughter and her friend love old dinosaurs and bugs. This was a delightful small museum.

Set in a charming mansion with original centuries old ceiling paintings complete with cherubs, well preserved decor details and a curving staircase. This museum is a little difficult to find tucked away on a courtyard off the street. This would be of interest mostly for those keen on fossils already, they form the major portion of the exhibits. An understanding... More
