We visited on Saturday to get an entry level into Aix Wine. Whilst you may not try much wine it was great for us as a couple talking all things wine and there were some pleasant surprises of the 3 that we tried. We have book it via Viator and I had mistakingly booked the week early before we arrived, so it was kind to be told my tickets were valid the next week no issue. We loved it there so much so we brought a few to drink during our stay. Our lady Justine was kind, knowledgable and friendly. We returned today but she wasn’t there to pick up wines she spoke to us about. It’s lovely to see the various customers come in the shop and buy their regular wines. They stock so many high quality bottles. Clean, beautiful and friendly place. See you next time! …

Great experience there. The staff is amazing and good advises and they have a large offer with some extra special spirit. Would recommend to stop by and get something from there.

We popped in to La Cave on Saturday 7th March because we had wanted to do some wine tasting unaware that we needed to book. That was our error but the young lady behind the counter was less than helpful and told us that she was only there to sell wine and we should have booked.

Dear Diana, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your visit at our wine shop was a disappointment. This is our first negative comment. We are really disappointed with ourselves and that you thought it was a wasted visit. As we work with a variety of intermediaries (Tourism Office, online booking platforms, etc.), we try to stick to the time slots we have scheduled with them and keep some time for regular "walk in/out" customers. We will make sure that our staff work on their English and on their intercultural skills to keep their "latin-straightforwardness" under control. ;) We would like to make it up to you. Could you send me an email at contact [at] lacaveducours [dot] fr to do the wine tasting you came for? We hope to hear about you. Kind regards, Rebecca.

Great little win store situated in a cellar on the Cours Mirabeau. Fantastic selection of wines, whiskies and spirits. Very friendly and helpful owner.
