I originally read the sign here as the more likely “pâtisserie”, pastry shop. But no, it’s all things Pastis, the favored, anise-flavored apéritif of the south of France. Vintage Pastis carafes, lovely modern glassware, posters a la Marcel Pagnol, just a very charming, very original shop! The owner genuinely loves Pastis and wants to allow others to discover small producers of high quality who are struggling against the more commercial giants, like Ricard and Pernod. Definitely worth a detour! …
