Look...Aix is a great city but this November the whole downtown was a mess, couldn't drive or park properly, workers all over, some streets were simply closed with no indications etc..perhaps the Mayor is on holiday !?

There are many restaurants along the way as well as historical remains - I found the fountains intriguing. The Pont was being renovated, should be really great when finished as it is an impressive structure. It's an easy walk with many points of interest along...More

Don't miss the performances on Saturday mornings opposite Les Deux Garcons. Amazing, amazing modern dancing, better than any I have ever seen before. And the singing!!! And all free of charge. The whole experience is stunning. The markets are on several times a week -...More

Beautiful avenue, with its fountains and sculptures - including Paul Cézanne's. There was work in progress, for subway construction, I think.

I have heard about spectacular this boulevard is and I really was anticipating it to be amazing. Reality check - the area all surrounding the big fountain was completely torn up for construction. The Mirabeau street must of had several trees die and they were...More

Hotels, bistros and restaurants and a street market that appears 3 mornings a week are some of the attractions of Cours Mirabeau. You might also hear live music or see a street performance all while enjoying this lovely, historic, largely pedestrian street.

On-street restaurants and coffee bars galore! This is a very busy street that doesn’t stop! Great choice of places to eat and/or drink. Home to a market that sold mostly factory clothing, and further down there are a few food stalls, selling fresh fruit and...More
