So glad we found this place. We needed info on how to find a Cognac Tour. The attendant was very helpful and gave us the info needed as to which tour was available. There are souvenirs in the place and well.

The tourist bureau in the town center is very much worth the time as the people are very helpful, know the area very well and can set up tours of the Cognac houses and local vinyards. They speak english which was helpful for us. The small vinyard tour they set up for us was excellent. Would recommend getting their recommendation of one to visit as they did for us. We had a couple of very informative, friendly time with a women who was 5th generation.

I just cannot resist calling into the local tourist office wherever I visit. There are always some things one might miss otherwise. This is my second visit here and I called in today in order to get out of the sun….. It is a small boutique sort of arrangement with an office attached for making enquiries and reservations. I was slightly disappointed when I could not find any of those lovely bons-bons they had on the last occasion. Pity that. Anyway the staff here are unfailingly helpful and courteous. It is a good starting point in most towns to get a flavour of what might be on that would interest you.

I am sorry Cognac's Tourist Office Boutique don't sell salted-butter caramel fudge anymore, we have chocolates with cognac or pineau des Charentes which are also typical from Cognac, but I must confess it is a bit more difficult to carry during your trip.
I hope it won't prevent you to come to visit us next time you visit Cognac and maybe discover our new items.

We went into the tourist office upon our arrival in Cognac. The space is quite small but filled with Cognac souvenirs and brochures. The personnel -- most helpful, and proficient in English. They made appointments for us at two cognac houses. Definitely worth a stop.

there is a huge range of information on the area and ideas as tow here to go and they will book the tours for you and find one if possible on heavilly booked days. Staff english is very good but they are happy to let you struggle in French.

The office is quite small but there are lots of brochures in French and English. The staff were very helpful with lots of suggestions.

This small tourist office is located just down from the Place Francois 1 (with it's numerous cafes) and is worth stopping by if it's your first visit to Cognac. It has leaflets on accommodation/places to visit and Natalie who spoke good English was extremely helpful in pointing out walks round the town/places of interest and advising there are information panels at the various sites describing their history etc. There's also a gift area where you can purchase some of the local produce and you can book tours of the Cognac houses.

Superb staff team here in this small Tourist Info office but keen to fully explain their town and take into account what you have time and interest to see and do. Great maps and English guides. Certainly go here before going anywhere in Cognac.

Was able book the Martell tour via the Tourist Office, but we could also book any of the other cognac distilleries too. Very helpful and multi-lingual

Myriem welcomed us as soon as we walked through the door. She shared a map of Cognac, recommended several Cognac-related activities that were not necessarily Cognac house tours, and even offered to help set appointments for us with houses that had availability. We would encourage you to take advantage of this great resource, and you might even decide to call in advance of your trip.
