The tour of this boutique family winery is structured very well. You start in a classroom setting learning the basis of wine-making and then you tour the site and end with wine-tasting. Our guide was excellent. The caves used for the production of the sparkling wines were vast and impressive. It was only the wine tasting portion of the experience... More

Dear Dave, thanks a lot for your comments. We are very pleased that you have appreciated the visit. As far as the wines tasting is concerned, we will be happy to convince you for your next visit, perhaps with other vintages ... Wine is a question of taste and it is difficult to seduce every one !! However, we are... More

Went on the tour of the caves followed by some tastings. Excellent informative guide-you get a real feel for how the wine is crafted. For me though the tasting was the highlight. Bought some Cremant De Loire to bring back to celebrate the arrival of first grandchild.

Lovely spot with a VERY friendly reception! They also offer an informative guided tour that looks very interesting, to be done by appointment only during low season. We will be signing up of we have the time! Delicious wine as well :-)

We have been visiting Langlois Chateau every year for over 20 years. We did the tour a couple of times early on but now we just go to taste and buy the wines. There is always a friendly welcome and the knowledgeable staff mostly speak good English and can help even beginners with a guided tasting. After so many years... More

Went on this tour, followed by Bouvet Ladubay and this one is certainly far better and a lot more personal. You also get to see the whole process as they own the vineyards and also produce and bottle the wines on site. Very informative tour and the wines that are produced are excellent quality and pretty good value. If you... More

We found this place a few years ago, had a great time and found red bubbly! Yes red and serve it chilled. Amazing drink, we returned earlier this year to purchase some more. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady whose boyfriend is studying in Birmingham. Worth a visit to do the tour and wine tasting,... More

Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. But more importantly great wine. We regularly return to our favourite winery in Saumur. If you would like to try something different we recommend their Carmen dry red sparkling, delicious!

Popped in to buy 2 cases of my favourite reserve sparkling and asked if they could keep it in their cellar overnight for me. I didn't think a night in the car in 27 degree heat would help. Not only did they do that but they also stored the four cases of wine I already had in my car from... More

Used to visit here regularly 20+ years ago, because the wine is so good and the staff so friendly and helpful. The good news is that it has just got better. The tour is great, informal yet very informative. Tasting is relatively unrestricted and the best wines are stunning and not sold in supermarkets, so have fun and grab yourself... More
