This small museum has not always received the best of reviews because the information is mainly in French but currently there is a very good exhibition, with a well-designed booklet in English. It is about the women who had an influence on Jules Verne's life...More

This museum did not reflect the imagination of Jules Verne. It needs to be more interactive. Jules Verne would have embraced today's technology.

We were disappointed as the museum is very small and there is not much to see. We felt it was a waste of time.

We enjoyed Musee Jules Verne even though only about half of the exhibit has an English translation. There was a gentleman there who was very anxious for us to view his virtual reality film. We had a delightful time.

Nantes is the birthplace of Jules Verne. Even the main attractions of Nantes, Les Machines de L'ile and the Carrousel des Mondes Marins, are inspired by the books of this fantastic writer. However, this museum is very small, very old-fashioned and adds almost nothing to...More

It is exciting to walk where the father of science fiction spent his childhood and the literary scene of Nantes at this time was a fertile ground for the future literary star. This museum lends more understanding about how this prolific author's talent was nurtured...More
