I'm not one for endless galleries displaying paintings of obese infants being suckled by overweight mothers/wet-nurses while heads of other infants with wings instead of bodies look on, however my wife was keen to visit, so we went and to be fair, there were some...More

Some beautiful works of art in this museum make it the visit well worth a visit. The first two are by ?Auguste Bodinier and the third one by Jean-jacques Henner.

A beautiful museum that contains beautiful works of all periods. The access is perfect for people with reduced mobility and attentive staff. A very beautiful frame both inside and outside.

Well worth the entrance fee of 4 euros, it is cool on a hot day and the art is varied from modern to old, there are a few old masters as well

This also was included in our City Pass. More than 500 artworks and archeological objects trace the history of Anjou. Paintings & sculptures continue to today. Well worth a visit if you enjoy history &/or art.
