Beautiful sight. Definitely worth the detour for photographs.
A word of warning: pretty difficult to access by foot. I got lost in the hillside streets on my way up. Bring a map. Also, the top of the hill is definitely not pedestrian-friendly.
The walk to the 'foot' of the hill is only about 15 minutes from the Notre Dame Cathedral and if you're looking to kill a couple of hours there are few better ways to do so! If anyone is interested, walk past the Saint-Maclou church...More
