While visiting Rouen over new year we walked through all the streets and alleys in the town. Came across this stunning archway which is beautifully crafted incorporation a giant clock. The surrounding shops, boutiques and confectioneries really accentuate the French ambience.

From the (dreadful) Jeanne d'Arc church at one end to the gorgeous cathedral at the other, this pedestrian street is a charming collection of beautifully preserved half-timbered structures.

Great streets, wander, enjoy, sip some wines while watching people. The buildings are classic and incredibly interesting.

Quaint pedestrian-only street, I enjoyed strolling there for a while. If you've got some time, visit the Gros-Horloge itself. (Closed on Mondays)

A busy little walking "road" with lots of shops, eateries and people. Fascinating clock at one end and the Joan of Arc square at the other.

Rouen is a full exploration, so it is this road and this monument! It made me remember of prague or krakow for its style! Beutiful door, clock and road! :)

You can't miss this street if you are in Rouen....it is in town centre and the best shopping pedestrian thoroughfare. A good stroll.
