On our way back from D-Day beaches in Normandy, we stopped by the city of Rouen, definitely a must-see. The old city is amazing. On the way from the central market square to the cathedral, the so-called "Big Clock" street is among the most attractive...More

Fantastic 14th century clock and bells. €7.00 entree great value. Audio commentary in different languages. Well worth a visit. Great views from the top of the bell tower. Small spiral staircase to get up in the tower may not be suitable for poor mobility.

This is a main commercial street. There are all kinds of different shops and restaurants. There are absolutely beautiful examples of Norman architecture. This is a historic area that has been well preserved. Great for window shopping!

One of prettiest streets in Rouen, worthy to walk by when going to/from cathedral. And pay attention to the clock.

Lots of little shops along the way for shopping or browsing. The old "Nordic" architecture of the city is warm and welcoming.
