We walked out along to the point in an effort to get excercise which achieved our intention. The walk is interesting in so far as you can watch the lock gates opening and closing allowing access to and from the Seine. As you walk out there you find well maintained gardens on the left that have busts of famous French... More

The beach is an immense emptiness of sand, with great views of the harbor of Le Havre. Strolling up steam the river will give you views of the Pont de Nomandie. Recommended for a nice walk. Easy parking connected to the beach by a pedestrian tunnel.

We were more impressed by this beach than we expected to be. We spent a few hours there on the fringe of the dunes people and boat watching, including the arrival of a cruise ship to Honfleur. Good view of the Ponte de Normandy and the other bridge in Le Harve from the promenade on the way there. Even the... More

The views of the cliffs from the beach are great. The same views that are to be seen in many paintings by the impressionist artists in the 1870-1910 period. The views from the walking path along the cliffs are even better (the path goes up from the beach).

A strange beach with a view of the industrial city of Le Havre. Not really a swimming beach but good for searching for dead clams! The tides. Come in and out so you have to be careful of the rising water.

It is a long plage, very clean (at the time i was there). Beautifull nature if you can avoid seeing the great port of Le Havre on the other side.

I did not know about this beach area. I was just taking a evening walk along the lovely park. I arrived at sunset so I didn't have a lot of time. But this was really a nice walk for those who love nature

Good sandy beach, great with kids. However it is forbidden to swim when the tide is low because of dangerous stream- so check the tides. Also really terrible views of Le Havre industrial harbour. Worth driving down to Trouville.

We could not swim there as the tide was low and the water was far from the entrance to the beach. Great beach to walk on, fine sand. It was also nice seeing it from the boat that we took from Honfleur.

Lovely sandy expanse of beach but the view across to Le Havre somewhat takes the gloss away, also little in terms of facilities actually on the beach and no shade!!
