I wouldn't call this a "must-see", but we make the drive from Winnipeg every once in a while. My 3 year old son LOVES watching the pelicans, along with all the people catching big fish. Friendly people out there, just laid back on the dock.

Good place for fishing if you like the catch and release on big catfish. Few other species are down by locks.

We stopped to look at the dam and were fortunate. To have the lone employee come out and explain everything to us.

Nice place to drive to, lots of good fishing for big cats on the red. If you fish you should definitely experience it. Otherwise a nice place to take a drive

We were lucky enough to be in attendance when the locks were being used. Hard to believe this bridge was built at least 50 years ago and the only change to it has been the bridge surface. Very interesting, but breezy. Pelicans were awesome, as...More
