This amazing place has the wow factor inside and outside. There are many information boards telling us about Saint Therese with fascinating old photographs of her childhood but the beautiful stained glass windows and the tranquillity of the spacious interior are the most memorable.

We were a group of 47 people who came to visit. The visitor's center was very informative and had an elevator for the handicapped. However, I didn't see an elevator to the main level of the Basilica. The Basilica itself was monumental and absolutely magnificent....More

Despite being a non religious person, the basilica made an impression on me. One of the last big constructions of only a few decades ago, the church is amazingly well and beautifully built. From the same family, 3 generations of architects made this building. The...More

This is the second highest attraction in France for pilgrims and it has a great deal to offer to those interested in such shrines.

Three seniors were delighted to find that not only was the Basilica well sign posted, but on arrival the carpark was free, as is the Basilica itself. What a stunning building, so ornate but yet so calm, even with the fully busy tourists trade. The...More

The basilica is new compared to most churches in France. It has spectacular mosaics and a beautiful shrine. The catholic faith is very much alive here in France. You should visit when in Lisieux.
