You are just across the street from Monet's home but you feel like you are in the middle of a wilderness, standing the middle of one of his most famous paintings!

The place is easily combined with Claude Monet's house in Giverny. Simply cross other side of the road.

Gardens are full of blooms in September. I wish they had some of the more unusual ones labeled. House was mildly interesting but the gardens are the draw.

I purchased a ticket online and it stated a time of 9:30 a.m. It was the only time listed when I booked the ticket. I think it just means that is when it opens for the day. Or, does it mean that is the time we have to arrive?

It's when it opens for the day. I also booked online and my printed ticket had the same information, but we went in a little later. It's good to arrive early, though, because it gets crowded. If you have a printed ticket... More

Hi, Is The Clos Normand - Fondation Claude Monet tour the same as the Monet house and gardens tour? They are listed as No 1 & 2 of things to do in Giverny on T.A. but they sound like the same tour! Thanks in advance.

Yes, same thing - only with the tour you get a guide, if you don't do the tour, you are free to walk around by yourself. We didn't do the tour. It is definitely something to see, beautiful! Enjoy!
