Nice cool place to spend time while waiting for the gardens. They sell tickets to the gardens as well.

I expected more from the museum and was a little disappointed as was my wife. The museum does offer some interesting works. Our main objective in visiting Giverny was Monet.More

Dear Thomas S, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you were disappointed at our museum. We do understand that visitors expect to see works by Monet in Giverny. However, we are not a Claude Monet museum but a museum dedicated to the...More

The museum was nice, but not very extensive. We did see an enlightening display of Henri-Edmond Cross works, which was really an introduction for us. It provided a foundation for his other works that we viewed during our trip. We also saw a Hiramatsu display...More

Thoroughly enjoyed looking round. All about one painter - Henry Edmund Cross. Not too big, though would really have liked to see some other impressionist painters represented. Nice restaurant to have tea/lunch with good service.

This museum is near Monet's house and gardens and I so enjoyed the Henri Edmond Cross exhibit and Hiramatsu paintings. I found both very worth the time our tour spent there.

This is a tiny museum which I found only mildly interesting. Great way to skip the line at Monet’s gardens by buying both admissions here. The real highlights for me were the garden and the lovely lunch I had at the museum restaurant.

Great space for displaying impressionist art. Currently showing a large exhibition by Henri-Edmond Cross, and a small room of Japanese style water lilies by Hiramatsu. Gorgeous series of parterre gardens outside.
