We went here for lunch and for the art. There were some good pictures, but mostly it was closed as they were changing over an exhibition. The restaurant was good for lunch.

We were not interested in actually touring the museum but they have a very nice gift shop, a restaurant, and a very nice garden to walk through. The tour groups use this museum as a meeting point, easily identifiable in Giverny with places to sit...More

Good use of space for all the exhibits. Lots of colourful paintings on show. The shop is well stocked with a good selection. The gardens are very colourful. We have not used the café yet though, although it does look very nice.

This small museum shows temporary exhibits focusing on less-well-known artists from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist periods. When we visited, the featured painter was Henri Manguin, a Fauvist, and the exhibit was extensive, informative, and visually very attractive. Don't expect to see a lot of works...More

Well, we found that it As really small with only a few pieces. There was few explanation and ir takes about 30 to 40 minutes to visit. That makes the overall experience under our expectations. Not worth to be visited. rather go to the musée...More

It might just be a small museum but the gardens are a delight and the haystacks are in the field just behind. The Manguin exhibition is what we wanted to see though am not sure I can cope with all those brash colours and some...More

Only one Monet painting was there. The remainder is a traveling exhibit with pretty unknown artists ( It was clear why the artist we saw was so unknown when we went ...) the gift shop is nice though! I would check out the artist exhibited...More

If you decide to visit the Impressionist Museum check first to make sure it's an exhibition you want to see. These are not Monet's paintings. We like Manguin and enjoyed the exhibit. There were no lines to purchase tickets and there were very few people...More

Although the museum is small, it is well laid out and quite interesting. The grounds are very pleasant.

Not worth the 4.5 € entrance fee. Permanent collection very limited (yes, 1 Monet), there was a temporary exhibition going on...3rd class. The restaurant is good though, and not pricey for Giverny. You don't need to go to the Museum to access the Restaurant. Plenty...More

Dear lovaniensis, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you were so disappointed with our museum and current temporary exhibition. In 2018 we will propose an amazing program and there will be several works by Monet in our exhibition “Japonisms/Impressionisms” from March 30...More
