We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just past the train station it was our first stop to get orientated. Offered good suggestions on what to do and where to walk (plus gave us a map). Nice selection of souvenirs. All spoke perfect English

Went into tourist information to find out what to do on a rainy day. Assistant, who was Russian, spoke perfect English and was very helpful. Provide a very clear map of the town, explained where parking was free. Provided us with good ideas.

The building is brand new so it's very nice. You have a little souvenir shop inside the tourist center. But (even if Deauville is very small) the center is located outside of the true city center not close from any area of interest. However if you have not prepared your visit to Deauville I guess this is a good stop. Personnel was very nice.

Deauville is spectacular, wonderful town, buildings, food, top notch equestrian centre. But travelling around there was a large circus set up. With many exotic animals being kept in awful conditions. Lions crammed into hot barred trolleys. Elephants sadly swaying chained up and more. How sad such a progressive area and country still allows this fiendish practise. Left a sad and sour taste. Come on Deauville don't let this continue.

Travelling with a little one can be difficult and so we wanted to find places that would be happy to have a toddler (especially after a horrible experience I had in a restaurant in Deauville) - it was refreshing to meet a lovely lady who circles on the map toddler friendly places and recommended to go to the races as it's very family friendly. She was indeed right and we had a great time in Deauville the rest of the trip!
Merci beaucoup!!!

We visited to get an idea of the layout of Deauville and the main things to visit. We were given a map of the town with a recommended 2 hour walking tour which takes in the main sights.

Our tour included the covered market, the 'high end' designer shops, the Casino, the beach and the beautiful Villa Strassburger which was unfortunately closed but is open in July I think.

I stopped by the tourism office to pick up a map and some guidance on what to see. I was recommended the Deauville walk with tips on a shortcut up to a church on a hillside for a good view. It was a steep hike on a hot day, but it was worth it. They were quite helpful.

This is a posh French seaside resort. The beach has a gorgeous and very long promenade... perfect for strolling. The beaches are wide, sandy and very clean. We were there in October but lucked out with a sunny autumn day so walking along the promenade was lovely. The small town center is also very beautiful. It is full of posh hotels, expensive shops and beautiful restaurants and bakeries. We also found a lovely market. All the buildings are old gorgeous French timber buildings, well maintained and full of character and charm. It was so pleasant walking around..... I am only sorry we didn't have more time here.

This is just a lovely place to visit. We were advised to visit the market but sadly left it too late and everything was being packed up at 1.00pm but that was our fault. Walked around everywhere is clean and we were so lucky with the weather 33 degrees in mid- September. Enjoyed a bear outside a small café/tabac shop frequented by locals buying their lottery tickets as a result we experienced the cheapest drink prices of our visit. Armed with loads of brochures but far too little time to experience this wonderful part of France.

If you want to see luxury yachts, villas and hotels, then you have arrived to the right place, because Deauville is a prestigious French seaside resort. However, please take the time not only for walking in the promenade, swimming at sea, wasting of money in the casino, but also visit the town center where you will find beautiful old timber-framed buildings, small specialized and even luxury brands shops, restaurants.
