I especially enjoyed seeing the artifacts that depicted life in Caen during the occupation and the liberation. The staff was very helpful.

We visited this museum as part of our Vantage river cruise in mid-June 2018. This museum is dedicated to peach and was built on the site of an old bunker. It was inaugurated on June 6, 1988 (the 44th anniversary of D-Day) and is regarded...More

However, it was truly an educational experience that I would recommend to anyone interested...More

This museum provided one of the greatest overall summaries of WWII in all of Normandy. Start your tour off with the brief film that touches the heart and follow through the rest of the museum using the audio guide. Memorial of Caen was by far...More

This is an excellent way to prepare for a visit to the D-Day invasion beaches. It is built right on top of the German command bunker which you can visit. They also have some good layouts of the beaches so that you get some sense...More

Lacks substance and overpriced for what it is. Went on 6th June and was hard to walk around without tripping on cables for TV coverage of ceromony later that day, SO, close or cut your price that day if customers are a nuisance, which is...More
