Amazing! Fascinating insight into this period of time. Go early to avoid the crowds. Wait for a minute before entering the gallery, as the commentary moves quicker than the people!!

If you are in bayeux this is a once in a lifetime visit. Definitely worth visiting and at €10 per adult is worth it. The audio commentary is very good and worth listening to. It does go quick at some points.

One of the things that you really should see - the tapestry is really impressive and the museum is well set out with audio guide included in the price which tells the story of the tapestry well. Once you've seen the tapestry there's an exhibition...More
