Delightful mix of masterpieces in different media. Excellent value (7 euro) includes audio guide in various languages. For an extra E4 saw the special Millet exhibit. Easy walk from the stations. Visited here for four hours and could have stayed longer.

The Palais dex Beaux Arts holds one of France's finest and most extensive collections. What made our visit particularly special with an exhibition of works by Jean Francois Millet.

Visited with partner as she’s more into arts than I. Huge beautiful building with much to see. Clean tidy helpful friendly staff. Quirky small modern cafe. Lots of art to see. Overall a pleasant experience.

Spread over three floors. The Millet exhibition was an eye-opener, never having heard of the artist before. Well-presented exhibits.

We were lucky to visit during the special exhibition of Millet paintings. The gallery must have done some good bargaining to acquire some of these paintings on loan. Very good.

Spent a day here whilst staying in Lille. The gallery is undergoing a renovation, but this did not seem to affect the display of the collection. The permanent collection is impressive and covers mainly Flemish work organised chronologically. There is a large section of statues...More
