The bell tower itself is a wonderful example of medieval architecture. It survived the German bombardment of 1940, the allied bombing of subsequent years, and now it's possible to climb to the top to view the sights of Dunkirk.

We went up this tower whilst in Dunkirk to get a birds eye view of the city. Well worth the few euros to see this.

This cost around E30 to go up to the top for a family of 4 via lift and then very narrow stairs. The view is awesome.

This was very reasonably priced and with the lift taking you most of the way, there are just 64 steps left to climb. The staircase is narrow but even our toddler managed to climb up. The views are so worth it as you can see...More

A nice tower in the centre of town. Downstairs serves as the tourist information centre. Don’t miss out on the trip to the top. The lift is helpful but the last 60 steps are narrow and tight. However worth the effort as the views from...More

There is an elevator which can lift you up to the bells. Then, you have to take some stairs to reach the top. The panorama of Dunkirk is magnificent! I also had an opportunity to hear the bells ringing then I was walking down by...More
