Stretching from Place du Capitole to the market of Carmes, this rue changes names three times, but is all one long, extraordinary medieval street. There are many different shops on Rue de Rome and many different restaurants on Rue des Filatiers, accessible to all, with...More

Fun and interesting street to stroll and take in budget shopping. Many quaint shops, peaceful walking, and ideal connection for other points of interest.

Lots of clothing and shoe shops typically at the lower price end. This street is very busy on Saturdays with Young people.

Just walk along this street and look up at the buildings, some wonderful architecture. There are also some excellent eating places off of the side streets in this area

The Romans built here the first street, and today it is full with shops. There are some nice middle Age buildings - Hotel de Sesta - but generally nothing special.

This street is a straight shot to the Capitole and is in the historic city center. It has great shopping and little crepe stands as well. The winding cobblestone streets make your shopping trip seen even more special.

Why this is considered to be a tourist attraction escapes me. It is a street much like any other in Toulouse: cobbled and often covered with dog excrement.
