Gorgeous building, epitomises the "pink city." The collections are in lovely rooms and the impressionist paintings are a particular highlight. Unfortunately, several pieces had been loaned to other galleries so there were quite a few gaps on the walls. Lovely place to spend and hour...More

We enjoyed seeing both the paintings and some amazing furniture and porcelain etc. There was also a temporary exhibition of drawings on which was included in the admission. Plenty to see without being so extensive that it became exhausting.

There was an exhibition of drawings on, when we visited, from Poussin to Delacroix, including some from Rodin and Victor Hugo! Who knew? The permanent galleries house works by Picasso, Van Dyke and Toulouse-Lautrec. There's a nice cafe too!

It is amazing that this is a private collection, as some of the big names in art are featured: Picasso, Monet, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, Gauguin and Rodin. This is an interesting art museum that displays paintings alongside sculptures, antique furniture, ceramics and clocks. It creates...More

The foundation displays the private collection of Bemberg. What a collection! The owner had an eclectic taste and you will find paintings and artefacts from the 16th to 20th century. What's even more compelling is the setting, as the collection and the building complement each...More
