Historical and beautiful square; surrounded by a museum, cafes and hotels. Many couples and families are out and about, enjoying the grand space at night. Beautiful fountains and iron work in abundance. Many fine restaurants on the streets heading into the square. The night we...More

When we visited there was a Japanese themed garden display in the centre of the "Place" which was lovely but even without this the square is just beautiful - particularly in Autumn sunshine

The travel books say this is the most beautiful square in Europe. I think I would agree. The light show at 10 pm was exceptional. We loved seeing this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Place Stanislas is one of my favorites spots in the world. Always beautiful throughout the seasons, it really deserves its status of world heritage!

As in the title. We were very much impressed and loved the fact that it's traffic free, clean, immaculate; the buildings form a real harmonious whole and the ironwork and sculptures have enormous wow factor.

Nice plaza with old architecture. Picturesque buildings and statues. Otherwise, we didn't find anything else to do here. But, leading up to Stanislas we stopped by a café and had a quiche lorraine, a must while in lorraine.
