The best view of the cathedral is from the tower of the palace. From there it is magnificent. Inside it is small and gloomy but with a rather spiritual feel. There is a cloister and a garden outside. The cathedral treasury is included in the...More

Don't miss it. This is a gothic gem. IT will make you soar with the height of its nave. This is the heart of Narbonne

A visit to nearby museums illustrates the history of the location, but the cathedral, compared to others in southern France isn't as impressive or set up for visitors. I have to admit to being agnostic (and not brought up a catholic) so the religious aspects...More

We took a train from Barcelona to Paris. The best part about is was seeing the French countryside as we traveled. One of the places we stopped was Narbonne and we had a great view of this Cathedral.

While the rest of the cathedral was never built, what you see is stunning and quickly raises the eyes to the heavens. The woodwork of the choir stalls (now the body of the church) is a tribute to the craftsmen of different era. Must see!

We spent two days in Narbonne, and this Cathedral with well-groomed channels the main showplace in the city. It located in the center and occupies a large area. Despite that it was closed inside, I recommend this Cathedral to visit.

We called in here after a visit to the Archbishops palace. A wonderful and spectacular old Cathedral that just oozes atmosphere. While we were there an organist started playing....do not miss if visiting Narbonne.

This is a beautiful building which has an interesting history. Even this atheist found it a wonderful experience.

Very impressive and very high choir. We were fortunate enough to go in during choir practice so got to hear the magnificent acoustics. Not a hugh cathederal but has some great flying buttresses and architectural features.
