These gardens are really amazing (and free of charge to visit)! You should definitely go there when you visit Nîmes.

We were taken around Nimes by a local tour guide and this is where we began the morning walking tour. The Roman influence on Nimes is immensne and the city makes full use of it. The gardens have little grass areas but a lot of...More

If you're looking for some time outside with ancient ruins, you found your place! If you've got the lungs for it, hike up to the Tour of Magne to get a panoramic shot of the city.

These gardens situated in the north-west corner of the city are quite large. With the central area containing many statues and fountains. We came here on a very hot day, but there are plenty of shady places to sit. Would have loved to be here...More

This place is beautiful. The gardens, the grounds, the canals the statues, all of it. It is just a great place to take sometime and walk around and enjoy the scenery.

The garden consists of a lower and flat part with the canals, ponds, statues and temple. The second part is the more challenging climb to the tower. But what goes up must eventually come down... Green, colourful and well maintained.

We spent a little over an hour hiking all over this beautiful park. It has breath-taking views of the city and is filled with lovely flowers and pathways. It would be a great place for a picnic too.

This formal garden is a haven of tranquility and a must see site on your visit to Nîmes. Stroll up the paths to the Magne Tower.

Yes, it is totally free to walk all around the gardens and the Temple of Diana. Fairly pricey charge to go up the tower at the very top of the gardens, but the view is quite spectacular!
