That was one of the amazing places we visited within the tour. The pillars and the capitals were gorgeous. The ornamentation and the paintings at the ceiling were stunning. It is the place for concerts besides worship time.. for the royalties.

I sincerely wish we had been able to see a concert here, but just being able to see the Royal Chapel at Versailles was a treasure enough. The history that has happened inside this little room is absolutely astounding. As beautiful and ground breaking as the Hall of Mirrors was when it opened, the Royal Chapel is truly the room... The chapel today is awesome inspiring, so to imagine it 100 years ago, would have seemed like another world. It lives up to the grandeur of the cathedrals in France and in Europe and should not be missed

Acoustics in this chapel is outstanding, especially for organ and baroque instruments. We really enjoyed this concert and will come back anytime.

One can only imagine the grandeur of the palace at that time. Truly incredible! Take some time to view it all.

We only saw the chapel from the area where you pick up the audio guides. However, you can see the golden decorated walls, altar, and organ from that doorway. Also, the beautiful painted ceiling and marble floor. Visited Versailles in June 2012 & September 2013.
