The garden and greenhouses were beautiful, quiet and free to look at. Short walk from tube station so easy to get to. A hidden gem, and perfect spot for lunch/picnic too!

I love going there because it is in the green area of Bois de Boulogne, and very close to Roland Garros tennis courts. I travelled to South-east asian tropical destinations (Cambodia etc), and also to Arizona (great cactus there). Each time I visit the greenhouses there I really feel like I am there. A great escape to the green

It's like a tropical escape in the middle of Paris. Ok so not quite the middle of Paris but you get the jist! I'm from Haiti so walking there was like a mini trip back home. I saw so many plants that we have and discovered beautiful varieties that I had no idea existed. If you're in Paris on a... More

We took my grandchildren, 3 and 1.5, along in their pushchair. After a walk in the lovely Botanical Gardens with the attraction of a Poets' Corner, and a play in the playground, we warmed up in the beautiful, antique greenhouses. These were full of lush, tropical plants, there was a pond full of gold fish and an aviary, which fascinated... More

A well maintained garden with many greenhouses. One can see many tropical plants flowers cacti and palm varieties. It's not on the regular tourist list thus it's quiet and enjoyable. A place to spend time enjoying the best of nature. While there we heard about an attempt to take over this lovely garden complex to expand the nearby tennis complex.... More

These botanic gardens and the adjoining Square des Poètes are off the tourist track unless you´re a tennis fan heading for Roland Garros or fancy watching a horse race at the Auteuil Hippodrome race track but they are well worth a visit if you are in Paris´s 16th arrondissement. They are located just off the Porte d´Auteuil near the metro... More

This garden is been talked a lot about because of the expansion Roland Garros wants in this garden. I understand the expansion Roland Garros wants, but I also understand the people who do not want a stadium in this historic garden. It is a beautiful garden. Some of the botanic houses are over a 100 years old. A really nice... More

One of four botanical gardens maintained by the city, this small but well-groomed park of mature trees, shrubs and benches, surrounded by a typical Parisian park fence, features a whole series of magnificent Belle Epoque greenhouses, where orchids and other plants are capably produced to grace high-level government offices. It is an entire way of life about to be bulldozed... More

FREE gardens and glasshouses squashed between the Peripherique , Roland Garros and the Park des Princes . They have made the best use of the available space (which is not huge ) and created an oasis in the middle of a very busy area although it is close to the Bois de Boulogne There are several late Victorian glasshouses full...
