Me and my husband both really enjoyed this museum, it covered a vast timeline and had a great collection, put it on your itinerary as it is something you don't want to miss.

Napoleon's tomb and the medieval armour are not here, they are at the Invalides. The "Musee du Service de Sante des Armees" is a museum focused on Health and Medicine issues in the French military over several centuries. Displays include historic surgical instruments, very old microscopes, a re-created hospital train car, and a hospital surgery setup from the 1950s. You... More

This is a great opportunity to revisit the history of humankind though the wars mankind has engaged itself in the past centuries. Very detailed and well worth the visit. Visit the Napoleon Tomb with the same ticket.

This is an amazing museum full of wonderful historic pieces from medieval armours and weapons to modern warfare. So much of the history of France is aligned to war, that a visit to this museum should be a must. Napoleon's tomb..tres magnificent! Wow! PS: That's real gold leaf on top of the dome, over 400000€ worth ...OMG

Great museum. Lots to see and do. Napoleons tomb is amazing. Very worth a look. Everything is in French but you can purchase a headset to use on the way around.

We passed this museum when we were doing a city overview by bus and decided to return to check it out in more detail. It is a fantastic museum! The entry fee is 9.50 Euro for an adult but Napolean's tomb alone is worth the admission. It is spectacularly beautiful, absolutely awe-inspiring. There simply are no words. I think this... More

We paid the £9,50 admission for this place solely because we wanted to see Napoleon's tomb which is located in the Cathedral. It was only by chance that we saw they had a World War 1 and 2 museum so we checked that out. It was excellent. It covered the French war effort from 1880-1945 thus covering the two major... More
