Whilst exploring Paris we walked over 'Pont Neuf' bridge. In the middle of bridge is the new place where everyone puts love locks. As the Pont des Arts Bridge has removed all the locks and put up perspex to prevent locks going back on due...More

From Pont Neuf walk down the stairs to this small park. It is an historic park where a king met his mistresses. Today, the fencing has locks placed by couples in love.

Great little park to relax for a bit between exploring both sides of the Seine. Lovely to just lay on the grass and cool down.

Jst a few steps down from the Pont Neuf (17th century"New Bridge", now Paris' oldest, of course!) the little-frequented riverside Square du Vert Galant public garden awaits you for a unique touch of the French capital. "Galant Green" actually refers to the sexual activity of...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
