Because this entrance is in the middle of a park, it is the most open and clear and best example of the iconic Metro entrance structures. The park is not all that well maintained, but I love this entrance.

We were on our way to Bois de Bologne and sought out this metro exit. It is a really lovely example of one of the original designed by Hector Guimard.

The Porte Dauphine metro station is in the 16th arrondissement.One of the stations close to Avenue Foch, its claim to fame is that it is one of two metro stations with its art deco design in Paris. The second one is the metro Abbesses.
