Came here on a Sunday morning before leaving for the airport. The market is neat with a combination of food and item stalls. However, most of the food stalls sell grocery related items (raw seafood, vegetables, etc.). The offerings for vendor food to eat and walk around is limited. Would recommend as a nice event but not a must do.... More

Every time we're in Paris is mandatory to go to the Bastille Market on Sunday. Lots of fresh produce from local farmers, lots of fresh food prepared right before your eyes, it's a wonderful mix of aromas and colors, the market itself is vibrant and very entertaining. We always leave with at least one chunk of cheese. Try the very... More

Go to the market, enjoy the smells and colors...and then, after a couple of hours drooling over it all, buy a few berries and some cheeses, walk south toward Cathedrale Notre-dam (they got a beautiful and quiet park on the east side of it, about 20 minutes of easy walk), make a quick stop on your way at one of... Wonderful market full of interesting, diverse food and wares. I found this market while on a jog and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. There are some stalls selling other things, but this is really a market about good and interesting food.

We took quite a detour during a day trip to Paris to check out this market. It was small and had some great fresh food options, however it wasn't what we expected. There were a lot of the same clothes etc. on sale, lots of things irrelevant for tourists. I can see that it would be great during summer, but... More

We took too long to get there and they were packing up at 1.00pm. I think it would be much better to go early in the morning
