Olivier Giraud presents an hour of side splitting observational comedy in English... teaching audiences "How to become a Parisian in just one hour." This man is so talented and funny, with an amazing sense of timing. I can honestly say that I haven't laughed as much in many months. The audience comprised people of all ages from all over the... For a great night out with great laughter! Olivier really new how to make fun of parisians in a nice way. The theater was cozy and acoustics really good. The price for the ticket was well worth it, good value. Plenty of places to eat around the area, so make it a night out!

Theater inaugurated in 1878 Boulevard of the Italians after 2 episodes including fire, before settling in 1921 Boulevard Poissonniere in its current location. The programming is very good, such as "The Scottish syndrome" played by Thierry Lhermitte particular (and 3 other really good players). Recommended.

Very bad organisation on entry, not so many people managed to make a crowd because we were not let in properly. Anyhow, the show was great - How to become a Parisian in a day

This theatre was pretty nice--the seats are comfy. We had seats in the far back of the floor (cheapest tickets) & still had a perfect view. The show, "How to become Parisian in one hour?" wasn't spectacular, but I chuckled a few times (others were laughing hysterically so maybe it was just me...).

A great show to see was Olivier Giraud's "How to be a Parisian in one hour" This is a fully English speaking comedy show that pokes fun at locals. We enjoyed this more than probably going to Moulin Rouge.

My wife and I went to see this show a few nights ago when in Paris. The Theatre de Nouveautes is a funky small venue and a nice place to take in a show. The seats are small - definitely made for Europeans :) but there would be no bad seats in the house at least that we could see.... More

Prior to visiting this theater for the "How to Become Parisian in One Hour" show, I booked two tickets online for me and my guest. I thought by choosing the midrange ticket price that I'd have great orchestra seats. When I arrived to find out we were on the first row, I deeply regretted not buying the cheapest seats in... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
