the exception, of course, being the charming Musee des Arts Forains, located adjacent to Bercy Village. As others have stated, The Village, at one time, was a conglomeration of wine warehouses where barrels were delivered by rail to boats on The Seine. This used to be one of Paris' wine warehouse depots. Much of the area has been recycled into a pretty park (extensive), but some of the warehouse buildings have been recycled into a shopping and dining village center. Good place to go see a move. Well-served by Metro line 14.

Bercy Village is traffic free, next to the Metro and full of cosy shops and restaurants. It is a very artificial project however and there is nothing historic, nothing to visit. At closer look, the shops are expensive and sell mainly Chinese low quality stuff. The restaurants offer, almost all of them, fastfood or even lack an own decent kitchen,... More

This place is just right outside the Cour St Emillion metro. It has many places to dine, a cinema and some shops like clothing store, bakery even sephora.

This street is lined with restaurants, sports goods, tea, wine and grocery shops. It is the place to be if you are in the vicinity. I was at a conference in the Pullman Bercy and stayed at the Ibis and so explored the area. So many restaurants that will serve you wine by the glass or carafe. Food is great... More

Stopped here to eat at Five Guys. Nice array of shops and restaurants. Very trendy area with lots of couples and people hanging out. Would visit again when in Paris.
